Just joined the forum after seeing a young lady cruising around in her blue mk2 dub with the berkshire dubbers sticker on in the local B&Q car park (slough), followed by a Red Escort Cosworth. You are solely responsible for me joining lol.

Father of 6, running a chrysler grand voyager, and a mk4 1.8 20v GTi. Main job graphic/web designer for TFL. Spend a lot of time with the little people, ages range from 8 yrs to 3 weeks old. Always tinkering one way or another with cars. My 8 yr old wants to mod the dub, so we are making it our project.

Married to a gorgeous austrian woman, who puts up with me alot.

Now finally got the time to work on my dub.

Bought as seen with 19" Audi RS8 wheels (need serious refurb) draped in 225/35/19. lowered tail end with springs, standard front so it looks whack. 3 door satin silver, gorgeous colour, needs some TLC, but for a 1998 model with genuine 86k on the clock not a bad buy at £1200.

Looking forward to it Sparky, she needs a few bits doing to her, but I'm in a dilemma at the moment. I have Purchased FK Street coilovers to level this suspension out and drop the thing down as much as it will go without fouling the driveshaft, but i can't find anyone to fit it for me thats not willing to rob me blind. Also i can't seem to get my head around this adjustment thing, there are no markings on the coilovers so how do you know they are level.

Any ideas? Can anyone in the forum help me fit them, would love to learn and good way to meet up.

Yes, Yes, Yes, When, Where, and hope I'm not being rude, but how much for your time. I don't have any drop links or anti roll bar. just coilovers.
